Hi there!

My name is Ben Warmuth. I am a Digital Designer from Cincinnati, OH. You're looking at my site.

There's all sorts of great stuff here. Firstly, there's my brand new blog. I post all sorts of things there. The only requirement is that it either inspires me, interests me, or makes me laugh. You'll see a lot of posts about gaming there over time since that is one of my major interests. Next up, there's my design portfolio. One section is for Graphic Design, UI Design comps, Storyboards and more. You can view that section by clicking here. The other section is all about Motion Graphics and Animation. Check it out here. You can also read more about me, download my resume, or send me an email.

There are several pieces of work that I created during several of my co-ops I cannot show here because of confidentiality reasons. But, if you're interested in seeing some of it, send me an email and (assuming you're legit) I'll fill you in on the work that I did.

I also very recently finished work on a major project for my final quarter of design school at the University of Cincinnati/DAAP. This project is what we call our Capstone, which is similar in many ways to a Senior Thesis project in that we have to define our project, do research into the topic, develop storyboards, and finally create the final project. The final animation I created can be viewed here. It's called Space Exploration: Sustaining Humanity and it's an animation that goes into our need to explore the Universe.

This site is constantly evolving and I am working daily to get more and more of my work into an easily viewable format so it can be placed on my site for your viewing pleasure.

As for my design interests, I love doing just about anything as long as I can create something new. I love web design, UI design and motion graphics and think that there is always great potential for melding those disciplines together in a wide variety of ways. I also love game design and try to immerse myself in that world as best I can.

Now, to prevent this from going on much longer (what can I say? I studied creative writing for my first college degree, so I like to write a lot), I'll just say thanks for visiting my site, check back regularly, subscribe to the RSS feed, send me an email, or leave a comment on any of my blog posts.

Thanks!

Ben
